Randolph Street Gallery - Performance Documentation

Here is an interesting resource for those of us who missed out on the active performance scene in Chicago in the late 80's and early 90's.

The is an archive of video documentation of performances at the Randolph Street Gallery from 1987-1996 at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's Flaxman Library.

It is held in a special collection that is availible for viewing by contacting Doro Boehme at 312-899-5098 or aboehme@artic.edu to arrange a time.

The list includes local performers like Chris Sullivan, Jeff Abel and Marianne Kim as well as folks from elsewhere such as Adrian Piper, Jennifer Monson, and Split Britches.
